This tea is made from the buds and next two leaves that remain after the famous Silver Needle has been harvested. It brews to a light yellow-orange bright cup and is vegetal and sweet to taste. It is sometimes called White Peony.
Ingredients: China white tea leaves. Brewing Instructions: Due to the size of the leaves this tea cannot be measured with a teaspoon. You will need 2 heaping soupspoons with water that is heated to brisk steam, not boiling. Let steep for 2-4 minutes and enjoy! |
